OUR DENTAL
TREATMENTS
Using modern technology and techniques, we are a forward-thinking practice that caters it’s treatments for patients of all ages; From general dental services to ‘smile design’.
We look to keep our waiting times short, to allow regular access and prompt treatment when required. We have a focus on maintenance, prevention, and early intervention. However, we also provide a full range of treatments to restore even the more complicated of cases.
We see the dental education of our patients as a vital part of our role and have therefore outlined the benefits and processes of our primary treatments below. We also encourage everyone to learn about practice care plans as we enter a new era of NHS dental support.

Routine Examination
These examinations are vital to your dental health and could be vital to your overall health in general!
– Dentists will do an examination for signs of mouth cancer, as well as head and neck cancer.
– Dental hygienists are mainly concerned with ‘preventive’ dental health and treating gum disease, which can be connected to heart health.
– We can catch things early or prevent them from happening.
With just a mirror you can see how your teeth are looking, but underneath your gums a lot can be going on without you even realising it. So catch it early to save from any non-reversable issues (and save money!).
Fillings
To repair a cavity in your tooth, dental fillings are used, as they repair damage to the structure of a tooth or teeth. Structural damage can be caused as a result of tooth decay, wear or trauma.
After the removal of the damaged or problem tooth material, this area of the tooth is filled in with one of 3 possible materials: Amalgam, Gold, Porcelain or Composite Resin (which is typically white). Each material has different properties, durability and benefits. So remember to ask your dentist more before making your choice.
Root Canal Treatment
Root canal treatment is a dental procedure to remove inflamed or infected pulp on the inside of a tooth. The infection at the centre of a tooth (the root canal) is typically caused by bacteria that live in the mouth and invade the tooth. This can happen after: tooth decay, leaky fillings, damage to teeth as a result of trauma (such as a fall). The area is carefully cleaned and disinfected, then filled and sealed.
Before having root canal treatment, you’ll usually be given a local anaesthetic. This means the procedure should be painless and comparable with the feeling of a filling treatment.
Crowns
Dental crowns are restorative covers that completely caps or encircles a damaged tooth. Crowns are used to protect, cover and restore the shape of your teeth when fillings don’t solve the problem. They are typically made from metals, porcelain, resin and ceramics.
The treatment of the damaged tooth and your gums are of primary concern, which will be treated and prepared in the first instance before being covered to improve the aesthetics of your smile!
Bridges
Dental bridges are designed to replace missing teeth or a small row of missing teeth. They quite literally ‘bridge’ the gap.
The parts that make up a dental bridge include Abutments, which are the structures that support your dental bridge, and the artificial teeth that fill in the gap left behind by missing teeth.

Digital scanning and
Suresmile aligners
Feeling confident in your smile is important for your overall happiness and self-esteem. We are here to help you achieve the smile you’ve always wanted in a way that works for you.
Did you know that straightening your teeth has benefits beyond cosmetic improvement? Misaligned or crowded teeth can make maintaining hygiene difficult, which may lead to oral health problems. In addition to giving you the beautiful smile that you deserve, straightening your teeth may reduce the risk of cavities and help prevent gum disease.
Ready to love your smile?
Dental
Implants
We understand the confidence that a smile can give you. However, comfort and maintenance is also so important, as our mouths are so sensitive to even the smallest feeling. This is why Implants could be an excellent solution to missing teeth, damaged teeth or unhealthy teeth.
Dental implants are medical devices that are surgically implanted into the jaw to restore a patient’s ability to chew or their appearance. They provide support for artificial (fake) teeth, such as crowns, bridges, or dentures.
Guided
Biofilm therapy
We offer Guided Biofilm Therapy, which is an excellent preventative treatment that projects a high-pressure stream of air, body temperature water and a fine coloured powder onto your teeth, to gently remove plaque, stains and discolouration.
Some of the benefits include: Prevents cavities, safe and pain-free, preserves healthy teeth, non-abrasive, won’t damage restorations or irritate gums and soft tissues, reduces treatment times.
Digital
Dentures
Digital dentures are designed and made digitally. This process allows for a greater level of individualization of the appearance and shape of the denture teeth and also helps achieve a better fit against the tissues.
Digital dentures can be made to look very natural, with tooth shapes and positions created as desired. In addition, there is no physical gap between the tooth and gum sections of the denture. This helps to avoid a build-up of stains which can occur in these areas with conventional dentures.
Composite bonding
& smile design
Using modern technology and techniques, we are a forward-thinking practice that caters its treatments for patients of all ages; From general dental services to ‘smile design’. We provide a full range of treatments to restore even the more complicated of cases, and one of the treatments commonly used is Composite Bonding.
Bonding is a very cost-effective process of using composite resins to ‘glue’ materials to the surface of a tooth for restorative purposes. Structurally damaged teeth are typically repaired through bonding. An enamel-like composite material is applied to the surface of a tooth, sculpted into shape, contoured and polished, making the damage invisible.
Tooth
whitening
Using modern technology and techniques, we are a forward-thinking practice that caters its treatments for patients of all ages; From general dental services to ‘smile design’. One of our most popular and simple aesthetic treatments is Tooth Whitening.
On your first appointment we will take a mould of your teeth that will allow us to make a tray for the chosen whitening gel to sit in. Typically gels requires around 1.5 hours of wear time per day for it to work effectively. However, the period of time recommended to wear these moulds will be recommended by your dentists in order to achieve your desired results.

Denplan
care fees
We strongly believe in preventative treatment and dental care, but did you know that free NHS check-ups, previously provided twice yearly, have changed to as little as once every 2 years…
Further more, although the NHS can cover up to 80% of treatment costs (limited and capped) following check-ups, treatment prices have increased across the board.
One way to save money on follow up treatments and also ensure you can get more regular check-ups is to sign up to your practice’s Dental Care Plan. For a small fee you would be amazed at how much you could end up saving, both in health and money.
