OUR DENTAL
PRACTICE
Using modern technology and techniques, we are a forward-thinking practice that caters it’s treatments for patients of all ages; From general dental services to ‘smile design’.
Booking
Appointments
To book an appointment, please visit the practice or call 01259 750278.
Missed appointments
Missing appointments wastes time and resources needed for other patients. If a patient cancels with less than 24 hours notice or misses an appointment, they may be charged as per our practice policy.
Treatment
Options
We provide a full range of Private and NHS general dental treatments (excluding NHS orthodontics and sedation). We are currently registering new Adult patients on a private basis and through Denplan. New patients under the age of 18 can register for NHS treatment providing that an Adult patient from the same family is also registered with the practice. We have a dental hygienist, who provides hygiene treatment (including Guided Biofilm Therapy) on a private basis and through Denplan.
In addition to general dentistry we also provide cosmetic dentistry, tooth whitening, clear orthodontics and implant restorations to improve your smile.
We are committed to continued education and keeping up to date with advances in modern dentistry and dental technologies. We use digital intra-oral scanning where possible, to avoid the need for dental impressions, and we use digital x-rays to aid with treatment and diagnosis
Dental
Emergencies
For dental emergencies during opening hours, please call reception to be given an appointment in a time-frame appropriate to your needs. Should
you have a dental emergency outside of the practice opening hours please call reception to hear a recorded message with details of our out-of-hours service.
Patient
Confidentiality
We take patient confidentiality extremely seriously and all personal informationis treated in the strictest of confidence. Patient records are securely stored to ensure that they are only accessed as part of your treatment. No information will ever be released to a third party without your express permission or where required by law.
To see a full copy of our strict confidentiality policy please contact us.
Paying for
treatments
Any treatment offered (either NHS or private) will be estimated, discussed and agreed with you in advance. Patients can also choose to join one of our dental plans, provided through Denplan. Denplan patients have been shown to enjoy better overall dental health and fewer emergency dental problems, due to the regular attendance encouraged by having a plan. There is also peace of mind in knowing that all preventive dental care can be covered by convenient monthly payments. Ask at reception for more details and literature about our Denplan options.
We accept the following methods of payment at the practice: cash, credit or debit cards and cheques.
Patients with
disabilities
We endeavour to see all patients as far as access to our surgeries will allow. All of our treatment areas are upstairs within the practice, however, we have a stairlift for upstairs access. If you have any disability that you think we need to know about please give us a call before your appointment and we will do our best to put suitable arrangements in place to accommodate your needs. A ramp is available for wheelchair access into the practice ground floor level. Interpreting services including BSL can be arranged.
Zero
tolerance
Patients who are violent or abusive to staff, other patients or anyone else within the practice will be refused treatment and reported to the appropriate authorities.
